Multi Award winning ‘Joakim Prat Pastry Chef‘ maker of these colourful patisseries French Eclairs with a modern twist is a must to check out in London if you are visiting South Kensington or after an afternoon snack.
The Choux pastry is a light dough that rises in the oven, leaving the inside soft and hollow and the outside golden and crispy. Definitely, a creative work of art created by Joakim and a perfect treat for a gift or as a snack for friends and families.
After seeing these irresistible eclairs a quite often on Instagram. I felt I had to go and pay a visit on my way home from work one day. Located just a few minutes walk from South Kensington Station. These desserts come in various toppings and the colours are stunningly designed on each eclair. The prices of each choux vary, where you can check out from their website or at their stall.
The above Eclairs had been just one of the four beautifully designed pastry on display. The Bluebird eclair was specially made for the RHS Flower Show week, priced at £5.20 which really stood out for me due it’s amazing creation with use of blue colour, which looked ideal for a front cover any page.
Maître Choux, sell eclairs and choux in a range of flavours- Pure Arabica Coffee, Spanish Raspberry Pink, Italian Lemon Meringue, Persian Pistachio, Tahitian Vanilla and Pecan, Salted Butter with Homemade Caramel, Very Dark Multi-Origin Chocolate, Violet and Wild Berries and lastly Tiramisu.
The Red Love Eclair made with Raspberry and Macaron on top was priced at £5.80. All of them looked lush and photo worthy. The other from first row was the Very Dark Multi-Origin Chocolate Eclair, which is suitable for vegetarian. The chocolate lovers are definitely in for a treat with this one.
For those who are cautious about gelatine please read below email, as not all pastry incliude gelatine.
In case you are all worried about all these treats containing gelatine and being forbidden to eat. Fortunately enough my friend showed me this email, where her friend enquired about which are gelatine free and suitable to have as stated in the above email enquiry.
So as well as admiring the attractive pastries, you can purchase a few from the above choices, which are suitable for vegetarian and does not contain gelatine.
