Christopher's, a week before I headed off to Istanbul, Turkey for a week's holiday. I met up with a few photography friends to test out my new camera and see how I can utilise it to its potential in food photography. Although lots to learn and figure out, I've managed to get a glimpse of how to use my new camera *Sony A6000*.

Christophers is an American restaurant based in Covent Garden, full of vibes and entertainment for the people passing by. Open 7 days a week, although their brunch menu is only served during the weekends.

Halal

You can request halal food if you ring in advance. When you arrive at the doorsteps you can be mesmerised by their spiral staircase leading up to their dining room as lots of people and bloggers who have passed by have taken shots of it. A truly stunning piece of the staircase.

The restaurant is known mostly through Instagram for its signature brunch menu and french toast. Therefore I had my eyes to order nothing but the mouthwatering Chocolate Brioche French Toast. This melted chocolate was something else every time you pour the milk chocolate on top, it becomes solid. Those who have a sweet tooth are in for a treat with this french toast.

Menu

You can find their menu here with various dishes available to choose from.

I sure took plenty of delicious shots before having a taste of this heavenly dessert. No doubt this was one of the most appealing looking desserts I've had from Christopher's. Definitely worth having a try, such a picturesque item.

After our set main meals, we got kindly gifted a Christophers shared a plate of desserts, non-alcoholic drinks and Christopher’s signature cappuccino to capture and play around with from our camera.

Overall, I thought it was a nice treat after-work gathering with a few friends before heading off to my holiday abroad. I sure enjoyed my time spent at Christopher's snapping and indulging away. Our bill came up to £90 between the three of us. Quite pricey for a restaurant but still a worthwhile experience. I highly recommend coming over here for brunch as there are more options on the menu for those who just want to rock up.
