My Breakfast spread out in the Cocoa room, Dubai

The Cocoa Room & Slider Station is the place to check out when in Dubai. The 'Cocoa Room' opens for a deliciously filled brunch during the morning period and then turns into 'Slider Station' during the afternoon until late at night.

On my last day in Dubai, the first thing on my agenda was to have brunch at this well-known cafe. Open until 12:30 pm before it becomes Slider Station until 11 pm. This spot was on top of my list to have breakfast here. Sitting outside dining with the sun out was the perfect option.

As I had a look at their menu, I was trying to go for something colourful and filling to eat. Although I already had the burnt marshmallow hot chocolate with salted caramel in mind for a while. That sure was an easy pick when it came to choosing a drink. However, in the end, I went for avocado on toast for my main breakfast.

Avocado on Sourdough

Just your ordinary avocado on toast with the addition of an egg. From the menu, you have the option to include an egg or not on top of your sourdough, in this case, I did. It looked really nice and instagrammable, and the taste was super yummy, as most places in Dubai generally are. Known for its food scene, it's hard not to be disappointed with the food around the city.

A colourful spread is just how I like my meals to be.

Burnt Marshmallow Hot Chocolate - 37AED

This salted caramel-flavoured marshmallow is so heavenly and messy to have as you eat the marshmallow before drinking all the leftover hot chocolate. The visual of this burnt hot chocolate was mouth-watering with the chocolate oozed dripping and a warm caramel taste. I couldn't wait to get my hands on trying this hot chocolate. This itself was delectable but very strong in taste. Pricey as Dubai is, this turned out to cost £8 when converted from Dirhams.

Food: 9 out of 10
Pricing: 6 out of 10
Atmosphere: 8.5 out of 10
Presentation: 10 out of 10
Experience: 9 out of 10

Overall, I gave this cafe a rating of 8.5 out of 10.

I truly enjoyed visiting this place and would definitely go again just to try other delicious dishes from their menu. Especially their pancakes, now that sure looked divine to have. If you have seen their pictures online of their pancakes, you would drool. The food I thought was amazing along with the service, they were all friendly and prompt to take my order. The price of converting to pounds seemed pretty high, as were most places I visited, but the experience was totally worth it. The presentation I thought was amazing along with the elegant interiors inside and out.

Cocoa Room wasn't too busy when I arrived bright and early on a Friday morning. Therefore, luckily I managed to sit at a table right away. As I've heard/read a few reviews, where people have had to wait for at least 15-30 minutes just for a table when they have arrived.
