ALL ABROAD THE MILKTRAIN! Go Choo-Choo!
Where Ice Cream makes you happy.
Milk Train dessert bar, as summer is heading the UK way, all you can wish for is some delicious ice cream and some sun as it gets hot! Is this soft serve ice cream wrapped in clouds of candy floss? Looked a different dessert, right? But it’s something we have all waited for as it has trended on Instagram for quite some time!
A visit to this place was a must although I have heard the queue to visit are usually huge up to an hour or so, but thankfully when we visited on Saturday we only had to wait 10 minutes for our turn to try these amazing Instagram-worthy ice creams.
You can find this dessert bar based in Covent Garden, where you have a set menu to choose from.
As I visited with two of my friends we all decided to order different things, where I opted for the Matcha Combo 2. My friends decided on for the flavour of the day, which was Blueberry on the day we decided to go, as they have various flavours each time.
Where you then decide whether you want it in a cone or cup and your toppings as shown above, which are 50p each.
Twinning with our candy floss ice cream. On the left, the ice cream flavour was my choice of flavour, which was the *Matcha Combo 2* A Matcha Green Tea flavour topped with Oreo, Popcorn, Panda Biscuit and Chocolate Drizzle.
Whilst the other ice cream flavour was the Blueberry Ice Cream filled with popcorn, rainbow sprinkles and salted caramel chips.
What do you think of these candy floss looking Ice Creams from MilkTrain? I would definitely recommend trying it once if you’re strolling around the Covent Garden area or Trafalgar Square. Totally worth it for the photography and Instagram upload.
Overall, although it was worth the visit to try the ice cream and take a few shots to Instagram. However, as it’s a small startup shop it tends to get really busy and cramped up for space, but overall an enjoyable little experience with a few friends.
