Palm Vaults Cafe Based in Hackney, East London. This little cafe has popped up on Instagram on many occasions, hence why they are now taking reservations on weekends due to the exposure there have beeing receiving on social media. They used to sell just coffee and tea, but now they have added lunch, breakfast and brunch menus to their lists for people to indulge.

As featured on Time Out London Magazine and is known for being one of the most Instagrammable cafes in London. The interior of Palm Vaults is pretty much all pink and green as you enter there have a set of plants laid out on shelves and on the other side you have lots of colourful desserts laid out such as cakes, crosstown doughnuts occasionally, sandwiches, croissants and much more.

The staff members who work there are really kind and friendly, as much as we kept asking for requests. They were always happy to help us, whenever we required something. That’s probably why so many people love this place and are kept busy as there literally have people queueing up to book a table or to have a seat there so often due to great service.

Food

When I first came to Palm Vaults with a few friends, we had to wait for our turn at each table that was fully booked, so we left that time and decided we will book ourselves in the following week. When Saturday arrived, I had a glimpse of the menu and saw through Instagram pictures what was ideal to get, which is always handy. Therefore, after a while, I opted for the Smore Toastie and Matcha Latte. The Smore Toastie is filled with Nutella, Crumbled Oreo pieces and brioche topped with berries.

Smore Toastie (£5.50) & Matcha (£3.20)

As I decided on the above Smore Toastie, my friend decided to go different and opted for the healthier option of purchasing the Acai Bowl. This certainly looked pretty amazing how the outcome turned out to be.

Acai Bowl (£6.50)
Palm Vaults Smashed Avocado (£6.50) and Lavender Latte (£3.30)

Raspberry Cakes

They tend to have various cakes near the counter, they change each week at times they have crosstown doughnuts, but what was on offer when we went was this delicious pink raspberry cake, brownies and croissants.

Conclusion

The three magical lattes above we bought were the Matcha, Rose and Lavender Lattes. At first sight, we wanted those two colourful lattes, which I’ve seen on Instagram very often. However, we kind of got mixed up and got warm drinks instead thinking those were going to be those colourful lattes.

The overall experience of Palm Vaults was fun, although I would have preferred more space to move around. As we were squashed into one corner and my legs would not fit, felt uncomfortable at times. When we first got our seats. I was uncomfortable to move around at times due to limited spaces. However, the staff members were nice enough to move us to another table close by, which was much more comfortable to sit around the table.

What do you think of our choices at Palm Vaults? What were your experiences if you had been previously to Palm Vaults? I would love to hear your thoughts and views.
