Palma Aquarium

Palma Aquarium Address: Carrer de Manuela de los Herreros, 21, 07610 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain

Last weekend, I went on a sponsored press trip with Toyota to the beautiful, stunning island of Mallorca in Spain. As the trip was all planned out for us during my two-day stay. We didn’t require to plan much, besides finding a good spot to take good pictures with the new Toyota Corolla car.

However, on the last day, we had some free time to do whatever we wanted during the morning. Therefore, I decided to plan my free time with a visit to the stunning Aquarium. Located within the centre of Palma de Majorca. I had this on my list ever since this trip was planned and I was blown away by how huge and spectacular this place was.

The Aquarium is like a leisure park with the sights of the underwater world, Mediterranean landscapes and the jungle promising to have lots of variety and fun for the family to enjoy a full or half days’ worth of activities and sights to see.

Personally, the Palma Aquarium is the perfect spot to spend time with either your little ones or just to explore. Here at the Aquarium, you see many extraordinary creatures from underwater and on land. As you wander around you see animals from the Mediterranean Sea. Here you manage to see lobsters, starfish, crabs, eels, seahorses and much more.

Finding Dory

As you walk through further, you see the tropical seas. Showing you the tropical parts of the Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Here I managed to find the clownfish from Disney's 'Finding Nemo' and Dory in the tank together, which was so cool. This had so many kids at the Aquarium so excited, including me! Haha!

Fishes in the Aquarium

Here at this stunning Palma Aquarium you will find hundreds of different species of fish and other marine animals. There were many tanks filled with humongous fish, I've forgotten the name of the fish but I'm sure you can help me out on the comments below, which were floating about like I captured below. Nearby, there's a tank filled with jellyfish as well, which looks really cool as they change colours.

Jungle

As you go further down the sea land. You then enter the jungle, resembling a tropical rain forest and beautiful waterfall. This roof garden is known to be one of the largest in Europe and features a 7M high waterfall. Experience the Amazon rain forest and even take a picture with the parrots. Before you enter the waterfall section, you see these stunning land creatures from the jungle.

Sharks

The last part of the attraction was the big blue, a tank filled with different types of sharks and 100's of fish, which looked incredible. I found this fascinating with so many picture opportunities around here. The stingray looked unbelievable in reality, swimming along with the shark. The circular mirror where I took my picture, which you can look through to see the undersea creatures, was so beautiful.

There are many areas within the aquarium. You and your children can relax on the huge pillows or sofa left by the tanks. Whilst admiring the sea creatures floating around their homes. Just like the image I captured below, you sit on those pillows and watch the sharks and fish swim past.

Conclusion

I hope you all enjoyed the aquarium images I captured from my experience. Overall, this has been given a high rating on many review websites and I couldn't agree more. I highly recommend adding Palma Aquarium to your list of attractions if you ever visit Mallorca. It’s a must if you visit as a family or with the little kids. Witnessing these creatures, in reality, was a surreal experience.

There are a few exciting activities you can do here at the Palma Aquarium.

  • Dive with the sharks
  • Sleepover at the Aquarium
  • Hosting a birthday party
  • Snorkelling
  • Summer Camp

I have just uploaded a YouTube video on my channel to share with you all from the Palma Aquarium. Otherwise, you can witness some of the experiences on my Instagram stories as well now.
