In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the centre, then pour in milk, egg and oil. Keep mixing until it's all smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter into the frying pan, using about 60ml for each pancake. Once it's starting to turn brown on both sides, that should be your pancake ready to serve and eat.
