Night Safari Singapore
Night Safari Singapore offers a unique experience unlike any other. As the world's first nocturnal wildlife park, it provides a unique opportunity to observe the hidden world of animals that awaken after sunset. Nestled opposite the Singapore Zoo, this one-of-a-kind park is an unmissable experience, allowing guests to get up close and personal with over 2,500 species in seven various geographical zones, all while enjoying the tranquil ambience of the night.
Night Safari Experience
The Night Safari was a must-see destination because it was Singapore's most unique attraction.
Enjoy the tram journey, although it is difficult to capture due to the darkness. Wandering about the safari at night is a memorable experience. The Creatures of the Night show kicked off the night. They run every hour. As a result, we decided to view this first before taking the tram to see the wild animals.
The night performance included a porcupine, an owl performing a 280-degree head spin, racoons opening lids, a wolf strolling down the stairs, and much more. Entertaining anyway, but primarily for children as they learn about each animal onstage. Following the entertainment, it was time to queue for the tram journey. The queue was moving along swiftly, so things weren't too bad. However, expect a lot of waiting time if visiting during public holidays or weekends. After the trip, you can walk around the safari and interact with the animals. Making it a distinct feature of the zoo.

Tram Ride at Night Safari Singapore
The tram ride begins with a subtle glow of ambient lighting that resembles moonlight, setting the tone for a serene yet thrilling voyage. As you settle into your seat, the noises of the night take over, including the rustle of leaves and animal calls. As you journey, you will hear commentary on board as you pass through each habitat. When discussing how the animal behaves, preservation gives an interesting and insightful experience.
You may see a variety of exotic species here, including rhinos, elephants, lions, deer, and more. In a 40-minute journey, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience travelling through the safari at night.

Once that's over, you can do the walking trail, which leads to seeing creatures on foot. If you can walk around. Then it's a great way to explore at night and view different species.
Tips for Visiting Night Safari Singapore
- Arrive Early: To fully enjoy the experience, it’s best to arrive early so, you can catch the fire show and save yourself a good spot for the Creatures of the Night Show.
- Wear Comfortable Shoes: While the tram ride covers a lot of ground, exploring the walking trails is a must. Make sure you wear comfortable footwear to walk through the park's trails.
- Be Patient: Some creatures may take a while to appear since they move freely in their natural environments. Patience is essential while observing nocturnal species.
- Don’t Use Flash: As tempting as it may be to snap photos of the animals, it’s important to avoid using flash photography to respect the animals and keep the experience authentic for everyone.
Before the Night Safari experience began, we dined at the Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant. We had some time before the attraction opened. As a result, we opted to dine first before heading to the night entertainment. There are a variety of stalls here, but my wife thought the Indian serving food stall seemed the most appealing at the time, so we ordered a meal that contained tandoori chicken with rice and vegetables, papadom, and salad.

Conclusion
Singapore's Night Safari is a one-of-a-kind experience that immerses you in a world of nighttime wonders. Whether you're a family with children, a couple looking for adventure, or a nature enthusiast, this safari guarantees remarkable encounters with some of the most fascinating wildlife on Earth. I highly recommend visiting the Singapore Zoo or River Wonders first, as they are both nearby. Overall, I enjoyed the experience for a few hours.
So, the next time you're in Singapore, plan an evening at Night Safari—it's an adventure you won't want to miss! Especially since such a one-of-a-kind event is uncommon. I don't believe there is anything like this in the world.
The attraction is a bit pricey, but you could save some ££ and grab reasonable tickets online compared to on the spot. Such as GetYourGuide, Headouts or Viator.
