Madinah Travel Diary in Saudi Arabia
Muslims from throughout the world have a special place in their hearts for Madinah, the luminous city. After Makkah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah is the second-holiest place in Islam. For generations, Madinah has been a symbol of spiritual significance. Rich cultural legacy, and tranquil beauty. This city provides tourists, pilgrims, and history buffs with a special fusion of charm and solemnity.
During Hajj times. It was humid, with temperatures reaching 47 degrees at one point. However, trying to stay under the covers as much as possible was the only way to move around. Furthermore, having these amazing architectural umbrellas throughout the Masjid was ideal for people walking from one end to the other. As you're safe from the beaming sunlight.
Peace & Tranquility
Madinah is often described as a city of peace and tranquility. Unlike the bustling energy of Makkah. Madinah offers a more serene environment. Pilgrims who visit the city for religious purposes. Often find themselves drawn to its calming ambiance.
Having walked through the courtyards of Masjid an-Nabawi. One can feel an overwhelming sense of peace. The soft call to prayer. The gentle breeze, and the sight of thousands of believers united in worship. Creating such an atmosphere of spiritual purity.
Aside from Masjid an-Nabawi. The city is home to numerous important religious buildings. This includes the Quba Mosque, the first ever mosque built. Also, Mount Uhud, the site of the legendary Battle of Uhud. Each site serves as a reminder of the city's important significance in the early history of Islam.
