Dubai Frame
Dubai Frame Address: Zabeel Park, Gate 4
Website: https://www.dubaiframe.ae/en
Tel: +971 4 222 2258
Opening: 9 am-9 pm
Dubai Frame is the World's largest frame. This astonishing frame shape building can be found at Zabeel Park. As you get closer towards the entrance you can witness the gold-plated facade shining against the park. You can have a stroll around the park once you visited the inside of the Frame. I didn't visit this spot the last time I visited but added this spot to my list of things to see. I was excited to capture the frame from the outside as inside there wasn't much to see besides the city view.
As you go inside you take a professional photo with a green background to purchase after visiting the top. There are no limits on how long you can stay for, but 1 hour or less is probably enough to roam inside as there is not much to do. The best time to visit is probably as soon as it opens at 9 am to avoid the rush or during sunset to capture the stunning city view.
Entrance Fee
The price of the entrance charge fluctuates because tickets purchased online can be obtained for less than the door price of 50 AED. I used the Headout app to purchase them for 43.55 Dirhams apiece. As I bought two tickets, the amount came to £9.64 for each.
Parking is easy to find right outside the Dubai Fame. Otherwise, if you depart at "Max Metro Station," you can use the metro to get here. Nevertheless, it will take you 10 minutes to walk from the station to the entrance.
Dubai Frame Observation Deck
You can see Dubai's presence from the observation deck on the top floor. A 50-second ride up in a lift will bring you from the past to the present. The top level offers a breathtaking panorama of the skyline, with Old Dubai on one side and Modern Dubai on the other.
There is a glass floor that is covered, but as soon as you step on it, the sensor turns on and illuminates the area beneath you.
Past, Present and Future
Before reaching the top of the frame, you pass by an installation that highlights Dubai's past and present. It actually felt as though you were strolling through a souk market while historical videos were being played. A video of Dubai's future is displayed once you leave the frame.
CONCLUSION
Personally, I thought it was worth going only if you have spare time first thing in the morning or towards the night. As not many things are open till later afternoon. It's a nice spot if you enjoy your photography, as there is plenty of opportunity to capture those great shots. Otherwise, they have a lovely park around the frame if you prefer just to sit, and relax at the park.
You will be able to see Dubai's past, present, and future. For those who enjoy following the growth of cities and nations, this is interesting. Also, mention there is a free water refilling machine as you exit the frame.
