Parker's London Experience

I was kindly invited to this place one day before it officially opened to the public. After seeing it all over social media and missing out when I visited Dubai last time out.

I had to visit this restaurant with the viral iconic cake. After all, there were several activities available for guests throughout the evening. Also, got to snap photos with Mr Parker personally with his bright blue automobile. This was then framed and ready to go home.

Additionally, there were lovely Bread Ahead doughnuts on the table for guests to choose from. Amanda Austin from Chelsea presented a floral masterclass in which we created our very own unique flower piece. This led to dinner from the range of dishes off their dinner menu.

What we ordered:

The menu for our dinner had been set, with a three-course meal. All we had to choose was one or two dishes from each starter, main course, and dessert from the below menu. Therefore, these were my pick.

  • Nachos Salad
  • Beetroot Quinoa
  • Corn on Cob
  • Truffle Fries
  • Mac & Cheetos
  • Steak Sando
  • Matilda Cake

Parker's Nacho's Salad & Beetroot Quinoa

The starters were adequate, but the presentation was excellent for photos. Nachos with guacamole were arguably the healthiest option on their menu. Guacamole charred corn, seasonal Rocca, cherry tomato, nachos and ginger lemon dressing. Additionally, the beetroot sauce inside was great to eat, as the portion was large. Consequently, I was unable to complete it.

Corn on Cob

Charred corn is served with parmesan cheese and lime ranch. Moreover, these were delicious, soft corn with lemon and melting cheese. Presented on a plate with a stick for support, leaving no mess for the hands. If you like sweetcorn, I recommend this for starters.

Truffle Fries

Crispy potato fries with truffle mushroom sauce. The name and description sounded appealing. However, it was not what I expected it to be. The top section was packed with cheese and mushrooms, while underneath was just plain chips. I thought the street fries looked much nicer and were a better choice than the two fries.

Steak Sandos

These were handcrafted rich bread slices made with wagyu rump steak, caramelised onion, and katsu yuzu sauce. One word, YUM! These were so cutely arranged, with mini bite-sized sandwiches. While these sandwiches were my preferred dish from all choices. As crispy and tiny, with enough food to fill a person up.

Mac & Cheetos

Macaroni pasta with creamy cheese sauce and spicy Cheetos. After all, these looked amazing in photos, hence the reason for choosing this dish. However, it did feel very oily. If you enjoy mac and cheese, I suppose this is something different to try.

Matilda Cake

The most anticipated dessert and the conclusion to our evening. Regardless of how much we could finish off, we had to try this incredible cake. Despite this, it has been spoken about by thousands, if not millions, of people. The chocolate pour brings out the most joy for people.

A simple yet irresistible chocolate sponge cake topped with crispy chocolate flakes and chocolate sauce. We bought the leftovers at home as it was quite filling, but after heating them in a microwave they tasted so good!

Parker's Conclusion

Food: 7 out of 10
Service: 9 out of 10
Price: 7 out of 10
Experience: 10 out of 10
Presentation: 10 out of 10

Overall: I’ve given Parker's London an 8.6 out of 10

In conclusion, the private event was a thoroughly wonderful experience. We got to do things like take photos with Mr Parker and his car, create my own flower creation, and finish with a lovely three-course dinner. The culinary options in the range were quite nice. However, I would have made a few changes to my orders if I had to order again. The service was prompt, and the employees appeared experienced and well-trained.

In addition, the price does not justify the portion, the restaurant is located in Central London and Knightsbridge, where prices are anticipated to be high, thus this was not a surprise. While the presentation was stunning, each meal was photogenic and looked fantastic on a plate. Therefore, the decisions were made based on the description and previous photos seen.
