Suluada Island: A Tranquil Escape in Antalya

Turkish Maldives in Antalya

Exploring the hidden gem of Suluada Island in Antalya.

Antalya, Turkey, is a beautiful city on Turkey's southern coast. It is renowned for its gorgeous beaches, ancient ruins, and thriving cultural heritage. While many tourists visit the well-known hotspots. Adrasan's Hidden Jewel has gained popularity on social networking platforms over time.

This little, isolated island is a slice of paradise for travellers seeking a peaceful retreat and the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature's pristine splendour.

Where is Suluada Island?

Suluada Island is located on Turkey's western coast. Adrasan has a boat that you can take. Boats are the only way to reach the island. Every day in the morning, boats leave. My excursion was planned through my hotel. This includes hotel transportation, lunch and a return to the hotel. Priced at £30 each.

You can book this activity via your hotels, or websites like GetYourGuide or HeadOut. Most of them include hotel transfer and lunch.

The journey took slightly under two hours in all. This included a 15-minute break at a cafe from our hotel in Antalya's Old Town. Even though the driver went throughout the city picking up additional passengers until the vehicle was full. Then we started towards Adrasan.

What to expect on the cruise?

The island's attractiveness stems from its pristine beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a sense of tranquilly that is difficult to find anywhere. You can expect a similar agenda to past boat tours. As you are taken to Adrasan bay, you board the boat. This will take you to the island. Suluada beach welcomes you with a tranquil, quiet sandy beach dotted with little rocks and caves.

People have time to swim, relax on the beach, or simply enjoy the scenery. They informed everyone that they had up to two hours to roam freely before lunch being served on board. The beaches are bordered by crystal clear waters, white sand, and shallow waters. A short journey back to the mainland concludes the trip, with buses meeting you and transporting you back to your lodgings.

Photo Opportunities

While the beaches are the main attraction, the island's mountainous landscape also provides scenic hiking paths with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Walking along these routes, you'll come across distinctive rock formations, hidden coves, and panoramic views that make for fantastic photo opportunity. After the first island, the boat takes you to another island that is picturesque for photographers. The tour guide gives everyone another hour to swim about or relax on the beach.

Following that, they take you to a cave for an incredible photo opportunity. After that, people have a brief opportunity to dive into the ocean and swim if they like. Then they bring you back to the bay.
