There are two different Duden Waterfalls in Antalya. One of them is The Lower Duden Waterfalls. Located in the Antalya Province of southern Turkey. The Lower Duden Waterfall is an awe-inspiring natural wonder. Pictures alone do not do any justice. The visitors are captivated by its majestic beauty as the Duden River cascades over the rocky cliffs into the Mediterranean Sea below.

Day 1

On my first day in Antalya, I wanted to explore the waterfalls because they were close to where we were staying. It was the ideal location to witness this breathtaking natural beauty. Watching aircraft fly by and boats sail away. Lower Duden Waterfall was a true sensory delight. Once we had found and photographed what I was looking for, I decided to return to Old Town and explore the surrounding area before shopping in the Old Bazaar.

As you approach the site. You can hear the roar of the rushing water, and the mist created by the waterfall creates a refreshing atmosphere, especially on hot summer days. The sight of the water gracefully tumbling over the edge of the cliffs is mesmerising. You can't help but feel a sense of wonder at the power of nature.

Arriving at Lower Duden Waterfalls

There are several ways to see this waterfall. Either take a taxi, a tram, and then a bus, or all buses. I caught the bus from where I was staying in Old Town. It was significantly more simple and cost-effective to go 45p or 18 TL one way. Taking only 20-25 minutes with little traffic.

Check Google Maps beforehand, as bus routes differ based on where you are travelling. For example, I caught the KL08 bus from Old Town. This dropped us off just outside and required only a 5-minute walk to the waterfalls.

Experience Waterfall

If you want to discover the natural beauty up close, then the best ways to experience the Lower Duden Waterfall is by taking a boat tour that allows you to get up close. Feeling the spray of the water on your skin and hearing the thunderous roar from below is an exhilarating experience that you won't soon forget.

For those who prefer to stay on dry land, there are walking pathways and viewing platforms with breathtaking panoramic views of the waterfall and surrounding scenery. You will undoubtedly snap some breathtaking scenes. Whether you're taking photos to remember the moment or simply admiring the beauty with your own eyes, the Lower Duden Waterfall is a dream destination for both nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.

Overall, visiting the Lower Duden Waterfall is an unforgettable experience that will inspire you to appreciate nature. From the minute you see the falling water to the feeling of exhilaration as you stand in its midst, the journey will be with you long after you leave its shores.

Those with children can hang out in cafes and play areas. In addition, if you're feeling brave, you can try ziplining or rafting along the waterfall.
