Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai
Atlantis Aquaventure Dubai provides guests with a memorable day of fun and adventure on the water. Situated in Dubai's breathtaking Palm Jumeirah. With its assortment of rides and activities, Atlantis Aquaventure is the ideal place for tourists of all ages.
The towering Tower of Poseidon, which holds some of the park's most thrilling water slides, is one of Aquaventure Waterpark's most notable features. The record-breaking Leap of Faith, a nearly vertical drop that transports riders through a clear tunnel surrounded by sharks and rays, is one of many alternatives available to visitors to ride.
Fortunately, the sea creatures were safely behind glass. When riding the Shark Attack ride it felt as though we were in the middle of the fish swimming around the tube, until the endpoint where it pushes you through the aquarium at the end of the ride blinking in the wonderful warm sun.
Access information for Atlantis Aquaventure
The waterpark can be reached in a variety of ways, including by Uber Taxi, Careem, Bus, Metro, and Monorail. When I went, I took the uber straight away because we were a little late. On the return trip, however, we rode the monorail for the first time to enjoy the experience. After that, we returned to our hotel by taking the Metro from DMCC Metro Station.
If you've never been, I highly recommend taking the Monorail because you'll get such a beautiful perspective of the Palm.
Arriving at Atlantis Aquaventure
When you arrive, you have to go through the lobby. This is a small boutique mall with high-end shops and restaurants. You enter through sliding doors, which take you to the water park. If you have already bought your tickets, you can scan them to pass through the railing. If not, you will have to wait in line at the ticket office to buy a ticket.
I would recommend buying yours beforehand as you save on cost and the queue. I bought my tickets via the Thrillophilia website, after comparing many websites.
Once you've passed the railing, you have to purchase a locker which was around 50 AED.
Once you're changed and ready, you can enjoy the rides.
Lazy River
For those seeking a more laid-back experience, the park's lazy river is the ideal location to decompress and take in the sights, and its private beach gives a great place to rest and soak in the sunshine. Here, all you do is circle about in the river where you can skip to the beach or simply float till you're done.
Before moving on to more exhilarating rides, we jumped on one of the passing inflatable rings because it was the easiest thing to do.
Surfing is available close to the entrance, however, the line is typically very long. I, therefore, chose not to wait around for it.
Area of Atlantis Aquaventure
Be sure to grab a map or take a snap as the water park is spilt into different areas. If you wish to cover rides, the map will be handy when you walk around. You can either take a dune buggy to other parts or you can walk if you wish to enjoy the weather.
You can find the map linked here
You can get fantastic views of the Palm when you climb to the top of some of Aquaventure's attractions, as shown above.
Conclusion
Aquaventure Waterpark is a must-visit destination for an action-packed day of outdoor enjoyment. It offers something for everyone to enjoy with its outstanding selection of attractions and rides, breathtaking surroundings, and kid-friendly options. Aquaventure Waterpark is the ideal location if you're seeking a day of water-based fun and excitement in Dubai. We rode so many rides while over there in a day from the places that were available, and I truly enjoyed every second of it. Nevertheless, as midday approached, several of the ride lines were lengthy, so we decided against it.
I couldn't pick a favourite, but the Shark Attack and Odyssey of Terror were pretty fun!
