What I ordered
Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or simply in the mood for something indulgent, the Farmhouse menu has something for everyone. Here is what I ordered, which came to a total of £50 for the whole meal.
- The Bombay Bad Boy £30
- Kashmiri Pink Tea £5
- Belgian Chocolate (Magnum Brownies) £15

The Bombay Bad Boy
A unique mouthwatering steak with a 10 oz sirloin steak marinated in their famous Bombay sauce, served with signature creamy spicy chips and slaw.
The dish was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. A medium-rare steak with chips, generously topped with sauce that made every bite juicy and satisfying. It was a perfect combination. At first, the texture made it a little difficult to swallow, but after a few bites, the flavours came together beautifully with the crispy onions and Bombay sauce. While most of their steaks are on the pricey side, this one was reasonably affordable. Beyond steaks, their menu offers an impressive variety, from Indian dishes to burgers and much more. You'll truly be spoilt for choice.

Kashmiri Pink Tea
A complimentary macaron was served with a fragrant Kashmiri pink tea, elegantly topped with a honey stick for a gentle sweetness. The soft pink hue paired beautifully with its subtly sweet flavour, making it a delightful follow-up after the steak. The addition of the macaron was a thoughtful and charming touch that complemented the tea perfectly.

Belgian Chocolate Magnum Brownie
A decadent dessert that blends indulgence and luxury. Fudgy Magnum brownies are layered with silky smooth Belgian chocolate and finished with a drizzle of creamy milk chocolate. Each bite offers a perfect balance of deep cocoa richness and velvety sweetness. A true treat for chocolate lovers.

Interiors
The seating is thoughtfully arranged, offering a variety of options. Upon entering through the gates, you can choose to dine upstairs or downstairs. I opted for upstairs, which felt luxurious with its modern gold accents. The colours and overall design were beautifully coordinated, creating a stylish and inviting atmosphere.
Upstairs, the seating combines modern luxury with comfort, offering cosy arrangements for smaller, intimate groups as well as larger tables for bigger parties. Outside, the space exudes an elevated casual dining vibe. Overall, the restaurant feels like a stylish countryside home brought to life. Approachable yet refined, cosy yet elegant, creating the perfect setting for special occasions.

Conclusion
A few months ago, while in Coventry for work, I decided to finally tick Farmhouse off my bucket list and head there for dinner straight after work. I'd seen it so many times on social media, and I wasn't disappointed. Since it was my first visit, the staff asked if I preferred outdoor seating or upstairs. I chose upstairs, where they guided me to a cosy table for one. After browsing the menu, I placed my order. My drink arrived first, followed by my steak about 10-15 minutes later. While waiting, I took the opportunity to look around, soak in the atmosphere, and snap a few photos before indulging in my meal.
The food was absolutely delicious. Although the menu offered a variety of Indian curries, I opted for the steak because it had been on my mind before I came to Coventry, plus I noticed it was a popular choice. The Kashmiri pink tea was pleasantly sweet, and after debating between that and Karak chai, I was glad I went with it.
The service was excellent, since it wasn't too busy, the staff were attentive and checked in whenever I needed anything. The prices are on the higher side, but you're paying for the overall experience. For groups or couples, expect to spend a fair amount, as individual dishes typically start around £20. That said, the presentation was exceptional, truly food art at its finest. Every dish looked both mouthwatering and picture-perfect, especially against the restaurant's beautiful backdrop.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return to try other dishes if I'm in the area. The food and overall experience were truly memorable. The only drawback is the price, but I'd say it's worth experiencing at least once.
