Archie's
If you haven't had Archie's yet, you're missing out. Made in Manchester and loved everywhere. This place is one of the most spoken about restaurants when it comes to North of England. A dazzling array of burgers, shakes, waffles and more in the most instagrammable restaurant in town. Archie's Experience
This restaurant in Manchester had been on my list to review for a while. I made sure we visited an area that has Archie's restaurant nearby, so I could review it. As we went to Arndale Shopping, it was the perfect spot to dine for lunchtime after wandering around the shops. I was looking forward to trying the Cheetos Burger. We arrived to dine around 2ish, where they were just a couple of people in the queue, but surprisingly it was busy on a weekday with no school holidays.
I ordered the Cheetos Burger as I had my eye on this, and by the look of it, my Mrs ordered the same thing. We also ordered Mac & Cheese Bites for the sides. The drinks we had were the signature milkshakes, which you can see below. The wait wasn't too long as the food arrived within 10 minutes as we waited at our table.
Chicken Cheetos Burger £6.99
This burger was simply delicious with the crispy crunchy Cheetos and melted cheese in your mouth. This was one burger I've enjoyed for a long time. They had plenty of other delicious options, but I do recommend this one.
Fresh spicy crispy chicken, crunchy Cheetos pieces, hot cheese sauce, lettuce, cajun mayo & brioche bun.
Archie's Million Dollar Classic Shake £5.99
Made with Ferrero Rocher, strawberries, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and Cadbury's flake.
Million Dollar shake was one of those drinks that have you asking for more.
The Ora-Licious by Rita Ora £5.99
Double Oreos, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and crushed Oreos.
Out of the two milkshakes we ordered, I preferred this Oreo's shake by Rita Ora as it tasted more chocolatey.
Mac + Cheese Bites £3.49
You will receive five Mac + Cheese Bites and a choice of sauce to dip these yummy treats when ordering this. You can choose from
- BBQ
- Cajun Mayo
- Sriracha Mayo
- Star Sauce
- Good Sauce
- Ranch Dip
These were nice and soft side dish to have as it was tasty and dipped into a flavoured sauce.

CONCLUSION
Food: 10 out of 10
Service: 10 out of 10
Price: 8 out of 10
Experience: 9 out of 10
Presentation: 9 out of 10
Overall: I’ve given this restaurant a 9.2 out of 10.
In conclusion, it was an enjoyable meal mid-afternoon before heading out for activities in Manchester. Archie's was very busy, I must say, even on weekdays. I can imagine the queue at peak times being longer to get a seat. However, coming down was a good choice, as I had few people telling me to dine here as a recommendation and it sure didn't disappoint.
The food we ordered was mouth-watering as both of us enjoyed the Chicken Cheetos burger and the cheese bites. Service was good as they gave us a table whenever we wanted to sit and served our food at our table. The price range was pretty reasonable as I found that burgers prices were slightly lower than the prices in London. If you compare it to the restaurants that serve burgers. The presentation of the mac + cheese and the burgers were truly mouth-watering to look at and indulge in.
