If you're looking for a spot that combines bold flavours with Instagram-worthy aesthetics, Chickaros East Ham is the place to be! Recently opened in the heart of East Ham, this vibrant eatery has quickly become a go-to destination for food lovers and content creators alike. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by stunning floral interiors and cosy seating areas that make every corner picture-perfect. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, planning a cheat day, or just hanging out with friends, Chickaros sets the vibe.
In addition to the delicious food, the service is quite fast. Our dishes were on our table within ten minutes! Portions are generous, pricing is reasonably relatable, and the presentation is top-notch. Every plate is ideal for those Instagram food photos because it tastes as delicious as it looks.

Brisket Tray
Brisket with 2 lamb chops, 2 grilled wings & house sauce. Served with chips, rice & coleslaw. This was one of my favourites of all and a highly recommended. If you enjoy BBQ food, then order this, as you get to try juicy lamb chops, and the brisket was so delicious and mouthwatering. Alongside the lamb chops, wings and brisket, it comes with chips, rice and coleslaw, which was more than enough to fill perhaps two people or enough for 1 to indulge without having to order any other items.
Nashville Half Broasted
succulent wings, served alongside a generous portion of chips, creamy garlic mayo, and a signature choice of sauce. The experience was delightfully crunchy and unique, enhanced by a fun twist. A syringe filled with sauce to inject into the chicken for an extra burst of flavour. A creative and indulgent way to enjoy your meal with customisable sauces.
Starter for 2
A generous sharing platter for two, featuring an irresistible mix of starters, two smoky grilled wings, two tender lamb chops, two fiery dynamite prawns, two crispy chicken goujons, and two pieces of golden halloumi. Perfect for those who can't settle on just one starter item. This beautifully presented selection offers a little bit of everything, ideal for sampling a variety of flavours together.
Don Tacos
Crunchy tacos filled with our signature kebabish beef mince, tossed with onions and peppers, topped with coleslaw. Now this was another favourite of mine, a crunchy taco filled with lamb donner, onions and pepper.

Overall: For me, Chickaros in East Ham was a 9 out of 10.
Overall, the food didn't disappoint, portion sizes were generous, and the brisket was definitely the star of the show with its rich, flavourful taste. The only slight letdown was the rice, which felt a bit dry, but everything else hit the mark for the price point. Service was quick and attentive, thanks to the quiet afternoon vibe when I visited. I felt well looked after throughout, and the team made sure I had everything I needed.
What really elevated the experience was the setting. The interiors are stunning, every corner is a photo opportunity! From the floral décor to the chic presentation, it's a dream spot for anyone who loves creating content. You can easily spend extra time here just soaking in the aesthetic and snapping pictures. For me, it was a fantastic visit where great food met beautiful surroundings.
