Apple Blue Lagoon Recipe
How fast has this month flown by? During the month, I've been really busy making plenty of recipes with the help of my mother & sister for a partnership with the Co-Op campaign, which can be found on my Instagram page for those mouth-watering shots. I have also created a few summery refreshing mocktails to break our fast.
As Eid is only a few days away, I would like to wish everyone an Eid Mubarak!!! Hope you all had a spiritual Ramadan and a month.
I felt it was a good time to showcase my favourite mocktail perfect for those summertime refreshments.
Use the recipe from the @feastoffriends book, which you can order using the link, where the purchase cost is all for a good cause rise for Syria. I recreated this summery amazing looking 'Blue Lagoon' which you can try and make for yourself or for your friends/family by following the steps I took visually or by reading the method below. I made the drink for the family, so there were 5 of us, therefore the amount of the ingredients will depend on how many people you are serving.
Ingredients I used here:
- Half a cup of blue syrup (Monin Premium Blue Curacao Syrup)
- 3 Cups of Ice
- 1 Cup of Apple Juice
- 1 Cup of 7UP
- ¼ Fresh Lemon Juice
- A handful of Mint Leaves
- Sliced Strawberries
Method
- Pour half a cup of blue syrup into a jug and include the ice.
- Now add the apple juice, 7UP, lemon juice, mint leaves and remaining syrup
- Stir in the cup
- Finally, decorate with mint, lemon wedges and strawberries topped with ice.
- Here you have your Apple Blue Lagoon 🙂
Blue Lagoon Mocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ Cup Blue Syrup
- 3 Cups Ice
- 1 Cup Apple Juice
- 1 Cup 7Up
- ¼ tablespoon Lemon Juice
- Handful of Mint Leaves
- 4 Sliced Strawberries
Instructions
- Pour half a cup of blue syrup into a jug and include the ice.
- Now add the apple juice, 7UP, lemon juice, mint leaves and remaining syrup
- Stir in the cup
- Finally, decorate with mint, lemon wedges and strawberries topped with ice.
- Here you have your Apple Blue Lagoon
The colourful and refreshing Blue Lagoon sure tasted really sweet and delicious! It's definitely a go-to drink this summer! Literally a family favourite and was the most popular mocktail during the month amongst my family. Especially my little nephews and niece, they truly loved this drink. This drink really brought back their trip to Bali.
